Silk threads are woven through raw gemstones, including lapis lazuli, amethyst and smoky quartz.

Main greenish yellow and green colours come from the mulberry plant. Adding character are dyes made from gardenia, coffee and black tea.

Threads used are off-cuts from a shawl weaving process repurposed in line with the Japanese ecological concept of "mottainai" (avoiding waste).
